On Thursday, December 5th, we had the privilege of meeting with Kristin Kastelic from Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC), who presented an extraordinary gift—a generous $10,000 donation to our organization.
NOC is a rafting adventure company established in Bryson City, NC in 1972. NOC has run a complementary operation along the French Broad River in Madison County and Hot Springs for over 20 years. The company was gracious to raise $5,000 for our relief efforts, which was then matched by the Wesser Foundation.
With these funds, RHSA will support recovery and rebuilding efforts in our community. Contributions will be directed toward purchasing building materials, assisting residents in need, and implementing plans to create a stronger, more resilient future for Hot Springs.
Every dollar helps us restore homes, businesses, and hope for those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Join us in making a lasting impact—donate today and help us rebuild our community, one step at a time!
