Rebuild Hot Springs Area has been awarded funding to support local businesses in rebuilding after Hurricane Helene. However, there are eligibility requirements that must be met to receive a grant as specified by our donors. Before applying, please review the criteria below to determine whether your business meets these requirements for funding.
Grant A
Eligible Businesses for Grant A Funding:
- Must be located in the 28743 zip code.
- Must have been in operation prior to Hurricane Helene (09/27/24).
- Must have suffered physical damage from flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.
- Must have had W2 employees OR must have been the business owner’s primary source of income prior to Hurricane Helene.
Grant B
Eligible Businesses for Grant B Funding:
- Must be located in the 28743 zip code.
- Must have been in operation prior to Hurricane Helene (09/27/24).
- Must have suffered physical damage from flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.
- Must have had three or more W-2 employees prior to Helene.
- Must use funds to purchase building materials.
- Must intend to reopen by June 2025.
- Grant funds can be awarded to either:
- The landlord who owns the building
- The business owner operating in the building.
