Investing in our hometown
Easing the strain on local resources

A small contribution can make a life-changing difference
The road to recovery can be overwhelming for small-town governments facing destroyed infrastructure and limited resources. After Hurricane Helene, damaged roads, utilities, and public spaces stretched our town to the brink. Your support eases this burden by taking on small projects, allowing local leaders to focus on larger recovery efforts and helping the community rebuild faster.
Our initiatives
- We are funding porta-potties for our downtown district while the sewer system is being replaced.
- We have secured funding to restore the town’s parking lot.
- We are funding construction dumpsters for the commercial district as it is being cleaned up and restored.
- We distributed reimbursements to numerous companies and individuals for their services provided, such as storage rental, heavy equipment operation, and sanitary services.

Why your support matters
For a small-town government, a disaster doesn’t just damage buildings and roads—it disrupts essential services, strains limited resources, and places an overwhelming burden on local officials. With infrastructure destroyed, the task of rebuilding can feel insurmountable, especially with a small workforce and tight budget. Every road, bridge, and public building in need of repair adds to the growing list of urgent priorities.
Our funding helps alleviate this strain by taking on small, manageable projects, allowing local leaders to focus on larger recovery efforts. By easing this burden, we help the town rebuild faster and stronger, ensuring the community can return to normal as soon as possible.
Making a real difference
A community effort
Our funding wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of donors and volunteers who believe in rebuilding Hot Springs together. Whether through financial contributions, materials, or hands-on labor, our community has stepped up to ensure that no one is left behind in the recovery process.
If you’d like to support our mission, consider making a donation or volunteering with RHSA. Every dollar brings us one step closer to rebuilding our town—stronger and more resilient than before.
